VOLUNTEER ROLES

Volunteers play a crucial role in delivering our programs. Depending on your skills and interests, please tick the box of the role you may like to involve yourself:

Event support, assisting with setup, welcoming participants, and ensuring smooth event flow Workshop facilitator or project leader. Social companion, engaging in conversation and activities. Helping behind-the-scenes, administrative tasks, scheduling, and promotional efforts. Mentor in digital skills and using technology confidently.

PROGRAMS & ACTIVITIES

Community Wisdom offers a variety of programs to support older adults in social engagement, learning, and well-being. Our volunteers are encouraged to take part in areas where they feel most enthusiastic about and comfortable. Please tick the box for the activities you like to participate in:

Community engagement projects (social cafés, intergenerational meetups, storytelling & memoir writing) Lifelong learning & creativity (news round discussions, book clubs, language learning, sewing, knitting & crochet circles, painting & mandala colouring, theatre, dance & music sessions) Wellness programs (nutritional cooking classes, mindfulness & meditation, gentle yoga & stretching) Seasonal & practical support (falls prevention workshops, extreme heat & cold weather preparedness, economic support workshops, gardening & sustainability initiatives, accessible transport support) Digital skills workshops (introduction to digital devices, internet safety & online security, email & social media usage, online services & shopping guidance)
